This week, we had the pleasure to visit South and City College’s Digbeth and Bordesley campuses, led by Ri and Imran. It was a great day to explore some of the exciting options the college has to offer. Our students loved look around the workshops, especially the mechanical engineering workshop.
We also met various students who shared their positive experience at South and City. All staff were willing to talk to our young people and share information about the courses and the support that they offer. One of our past students who attends South and City even came to join us and help give a tour around the campuses!
It was a great success, breaking down those barriers that sometimes our students have when it comes to the thought of moving on. They were able to see the potential in furthering their studies such as apprenticeships and paid employment. We hope to see our students succeed in setting like these when they leave Riverside!
